Ópera prima de Marc Martínez Jordán, producida por Marc Carreté bajo el sello CREATURES OF THE DARK. Un slasher contemporáneo de bajo presupuesto, ambientado en un mundo en el que las redes sociales y la obsesión por los “likes” han tomado definitivamente el control.
SINOPSIS
Alex se reúne con sus amigos antes de marcharse a trabajar al extranjero. Durante el transcurso de la velada, serán atacados por tres extraños individuos cuyo único objetivo será imponer retorcidos juegos mortales a los invitados mientras lo retransmiten en streaming, haciendo así de la tortura y la muerte un espectáculo viral.
RECORRIDO
FRAMED celebró su world premiere en noviembre de 2017, abriendo el FESTIVAL DE CINE DE TERROR DE MOLINS DE REI. Posteriormente, la película inició un largo periplo por festivales de cine fantástico y de terror de todo el mundo, en los que ha sido reconocida con decenas de nominaciones y más de veinte premios internacionales, entre los que cabe destacar los de Mejor Película en festivales de gran prestigio cómoo: BOSTON SCI-FI, MACABRO y FANTAFESTIVAL.

As part of the Sitges Film Festival “Coming Soon” section, Marc Carreté‘s (Asmodexia) newly-founded Creatures of the Dark banner “crashed the party” with a big screen stream of the first full trailer for Marc Martínez Jordán’s upcoming home invasion/slasher shocker, Framed.
Following a private investment and co-production strategy, Carreté’s newly created genre label will launch with Martinez Jordán’s Framed with various subsequent projects already in the works, the first of which will be helmed by Carreté himself.

It was almost exactly a year ago that we shared the proof of concept trailer for Marc Jordan Martinez' Spanish horror Framed and with the film now deep into post-production Martinez debuted the actual trailer for the film late last week as part of the Coming Soon program at the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival.

I must confess, I adore Spanish horror. That’s why when Marc Carreté (Asmodexia) tells me he is wrapping up a “cool and bloody” slasher that he is producing, I perk up. FRAMED will be the feature length debut of director Marc Martínez Jordán, who won the Paul Naschy Brigadoon and Cine365 awards at the Sitges Film Festival in 2015. Under the banner of Carreté’s new brand, Creatures of the Dark, Jordán explores the dark side of social media, and just how far some people are willing to go to get those extra “views”.
